The term "classic hardcore punk album" must be one of the most overused phrases, but in the case of the SPERMBIRDS legendary debut album from 1987, its more than valid. Hailing from Kaiserslauten and featuring ex US serviceman Lee Hollis on vocals, the debut SPERMBIRDS album was fast and furious punk rock influenced by US hardcore bands such as BLACK FLAG, 7 SECONDS and ANGRY SAMOANS.

This CD Reissue co-released between Boss Tuneage and Rookie Records combines "SOMETHING TO PROVE" with the "NOTHING IS EASY" follow up as well as 6 additional bonus tracks, including the songs from the split 7" with WALTER ELF
